More than anything else, the pride of our inn is our open-air baths. Our baths are filled with hot water flowing directly from the source so that you can enjoy authentic hot springs. Please enjoy the hot springs while being healed by the beautiful nature throughout the four seasons – new green leaves in spring, river fun in summer, autumn foliage in fall and snow viewing open-air baths and star-filled night skies in winter.

Norikura Skyline Drive Way
Norikura Skyline Drive Way is the highest mountain road in Japan. The alpine plants and the majestic figure of the Yari and Hotaka Mountain Range spread out from the window of the skyline. There is a direct bus service from Hirayu Spa/Honoki Daira. (There are restrictions on cars / Closed in winter)
Shirakawa-go
The village of Shirakawa-go was registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 1995 and has now become a popular tourist spot attracting 1.4 million visitors a year.
Kamikochi
Kamikochi is interwoven with the landscape of mountains, greenery and water – from Kappa Bridge spanning the pure water of Azusa River to the majestic figure of the commanding mountains, as well as Taisho Pond, Myojin Pond and Toku Marsh.
Shin-Hotaka Ropeway
This is a ropeway with a total length of 3,200m – Shin-Hotaka, Shin-Hotaka Spa, Oku-Hida Spa Village, Takayama City. It is possible to reach the summit in Japan’s first two-story gondola. You can enjoy great views of the Northern Alps. This is either a 2-minute drive by car or a 15-minute walk on foot from our inn.
